The VX series "Rolled Lip" Full Cone Pressure Atomising Series,
is a Patented Improvement on Outdated Cooling Nozzle Technology.
Our Patented Rolled Lip Inlet Sealing System, ensures that
when mounted and spraying in Vertical Upright orientation
( underside cooling Of the slab); that the internal nozzle
vane or swirler, that swirls the liquid into a full cone spray
pattern, will NOT fall out into the header pipe when subjected
to Thermal Heat Expansion.
This means less chance of concentrated jets of water leaving
the nozzle orifice, cutting the outer crust of the newly formed
slab and Thus reducing risks of costly Break Outs of Molten
Steel ! ( consult factory on available sizes, flow rates and
spray angles ).
